The necklace ASKJA is handcrafted in white gold 750/1000 and black silver 925/1000. Like a mobile, the white gold twigs create an impression of precarious balance. The lava nugget-shaped chain and pendant are in silver. The nugget perfectly recreates the texture and striking appearance of the solidified lava. 3 white diamonds of GVS quality are set on the pendant to sprinkle it with flashes of light. The real distinction of this necklace lies in its graceful mobility. The mobile design of this white gold necklace gives it a light, airy allure.

The diamonds are sourced from one of the most reputable diamond dealers in Antwerp, Belgium and are guaranteed conflict free.

The term "white gold" refers to 750/1000 white gold, also called 18-carat gold, in which there is a proportion of palladium (13%) making it light grey, almost white. No surface treatment such as rhodium plating is used, the gold is white in the mass and will remain so.

The term "Black Silver" refers to 925/1000 silver that has been oxidized to make it dark grey. Black silver will develop a patina, the treatment will fade in places to reveal the natural shine of untreated silver.

The jewelry in the BASALTE collection captures the very essence of Iceland, blending natural elements with contemporary design. The pieces are carefully sculpted, highlighting the texture and nuances of basalt. The organic shapes recall the island's volcanic landscapes, where rock stands proud against wind and waves.
